Obama's likeability

Politicians live by their appearance, since most of them do not bring anything fruitful to the people. President Obama  seems to have a certain advantage over his GOP opponents by the way people find him like able. What does that really mean? What is their to like?  And are we fools to take this into account to elect a President?. Let's see....

Likability is the power of appearing nice, friendly, pleasing. It is a superficial skill, a socialization tool that helps in basic social interactions. It does not give any insight on a persons motivations or personality traits. It talks to the more infantile part of our ego. Nothing is more appealing than a smiling face that seems to be wanting to give us something. This act is so attractive that the most notorious serial killers, like Ted Bundy, used this weapon to get the attention and trust of their victims. Likability  can be a very powerful mask to hide behind. The person who is likeable does not necessarily love. Without love nothing good happens.

Let's use wisdom and look deep into our heart and see through the schemes of  like ability. Let's make choice of our future an children's future. Let's get information about the candidates that go deeper than a Colgate smile. The Media cannot rule people. God in his infinite love and holiness already does.

 Psalms 118 says :

⁸It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
   
 ⁹It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

President Barrack Obama follows this philosophy : The bigger the lie the more people will believe in it.

I believe there is enough good left in the heart of Americans to make the right decision and vote Obama and the Democrats out of office this coming election. Let's do this for God blessings and for our children's future
